Kukri Planet

Kukri Knives are known throughout the world for their unique curved design, which is instantly recognizable when seen deployed with the elite military organizations of Southeast Asia.

The kukri knife has been used for over 300 years as both a weapon and a household tool in Nepal and surrounding regions.  Because of its unique shape the kukri has immense cutting power and the heavy blade is designed to chop wood and hack through thick jungle brush when not being used in hand-to-hand combat.
While most kukri knives that are made by natives are derived from parts such as steel automotive leaf springs, the items that you find here are all made of high-grade steel forged using modern technology and equipment.

Used to hack through both jungle underbrush and human flesh and bone, the Kukri Knife is one of the world’s most famous and deadly weapons.  The angle of the curved blade maximizes the cutting power of each sweeping stroke used to wield it while the thick backbone of steel keeps kukri knives from breaking when brought to bear against any target from wood or light armor.

These blades were first employed by the British as they outfitted special groups of soldiers for jungle warfare.  They have served their purpose well and today kukri knives often get a front and center place in action movies and video games.  It used to be rather difficult to  find even one Kukri Knife as they were available only in specialty shops which were not found in all areas, but now with the advent of the web anyone can find a great-quality kukri knife for less than most would think.

Be sure to check out all of the different kukri knives available for sale on this site as they come in a number of configurations.  When you order one, remember that the blade on almost every kukri knife is deadly sharp with only a few being fashioned unsharpened edges in order to fulfill the needs of the filming industry or decorative purposes, so be safe.

Gurkha knives have a long history but are most well known as being a weapon of elite military units such as the Gurkha regiments of the British Indian Army back in 1800s.  They are still in use today amongst military, paramilitary, police, and anti-terrorism security forces in Southeast Asia.

Displayed below is our current selection of gurkha knives which are available in both traditional and modern variations.

All of these gurkha knives are fashioned after the original spirit and design that was forged into the original weapons used by Napalese fighters from the past and present.
